I am starting to build a 3 DOF flightsim and am now wondering about these motors and controllers:

BLDC motors planetary gearbox, 220 W, 70 rpm, 20 Nm. But are they sturdy enough? Only one outgoing driveshaft.

Will they be suitable for a 3 DOF flightsim?
Planning of using levers on the axels to move the setup.

Have also been looking at these:
    ibt-2 43A bts7960 driver
    80ZYT165-2438-40RV60 motor

Brushed motors wormgear gearbox, 400 W, 3800 rpm, 60:1, 63 Nm, dual driveshaft in gearbox,

    Thanks.

You can't really talk about motors without fully detailing the design you have in mind for the 3dof rig, as the design will greatly influence what it takes to drive it.

Use the custom Google search on the recent page regarding approaches others have taken to controlling BLDC motors.
