    Hi folks..

My sim is more and more growin up..

The next step is an indication bargraph for the RPM-Limiter.
    (used as a gear-shift-help)

It´s very simple, i just used 2 pcs of lm339 comperators, two potis (for offset an sensitivity)
    and a handfull of coloured 3mm LED´s.
The rpm-signal is used as 0...5 Volt analog from the Velleman K8055

So here is the scematic: RPM-LIMIT-BAR.JPG

There is a LM317 used as voltage-source for the LED´s - so there is no need for aditional resistors in series to the LED´s.

    I used 1 and a half LM339 for 12 (2x6 LED´s) - u can use up to 16 (2x8) with two LM´s.

For the first test - here we go: Foto-RPM-klein.JPG

With this project too, you don't need to use the K8055 and waste all those comparators.

Just use the UART and send RPM information straight to microcontroller, then control each LED with a pin.

Keep up the good work!
