    Hi.
I was wondering, if I can't find some SCN5's here in the UK, can I use other actuators or is it just the SCN5's that work with X-Sim?

Because I want to build a frex system (with the pedal support connected to the chair frame and not on the floor like in most) and so far I've found every actuator under the sun, except SCN's. I also tried contacting an Actuator supplier and he didn't even know about the SCN's    .

Another question is do I only need the components below or do I need more to be able to connect to X-sim?

    2 Actuators 150mm/s

    2 pololu jrk 12v12

1 or 2 computer PSU's (wattage depending on actuators)

    Thanks in advance.

    Antonio

    How did you get on?
I am in the UK Weymouth, considering whether to buy off the shelf (sim experience) or build my own with parts from the UK.. Did you find all the parts you need? If so who ? where? and how much?

    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, SCN5
Dont give up hope :) I came here just a couple of months ago not knowing what I was going to get and ended up getting all my kit from the marketplace forums here from a chap in germany..few days later it arrived and now I'm getting motion sick most nights :D
It is tough to find the bits in the UK, nothing every seemed to show up on ebay so I was almost ready to go for a simxperience kit when I found what I wanted :)
