I've just finished a 2dof motion sim. I'm using 2x jrk controllers and 2x motion dynamics 200watt motors. I've set everything via the jrk guide which is excellent by the way. I can actuate both motors manually via sim tools. Pitch works but roll just seems to be an extension of pitch. I've inverted the motors via sim tools but the same result.

One other thing is I did take the gearbox off the left motor in the pic to turn around the shaft. Would this have anything to do with how I set the motors up in the jrk program. Example when learning should I set the min max in the opposite direction?

I mainly play project cars and the sim works in game but just seems to move with the road. I have no pitch when the car accelerates or brakes and no roll only if the road banks.

    Cheers

The most likely issue with roll is that the Dir check boxes are not properly set in the Axis Assignments, but please post some pictures of your settings.

You guys are legends that was the problem I didn't have it set in the default profile. Will post in the build thread when done. Still got to put a mount in for the handbrake

The force you feel when you accelerate and brake is the SURGE
the one when you turn is SWAY

EDIT: Leave pCars and launch Assetto Corsa ;)

@Megadeth OT: I saw you (Megadeth :D) in 1992 at the Monsters of Rock, together with Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Testament, Pantera, Warrant... what a show!

Lol I just can't seem to find a race with asset to corsa. Was going to give it another go over the wkd. So for setting up the sim I should have it on surge and sway instead of pitch and roll?
