    Hi All,

Just finished my traction loss motion project with help of all the great content on these forums.

Now moving onto adding active seat belt tensioners.
I did have a RC servo solution using SimHub, but found the servos too noisey and tension was not very progressive for me.

Looking at using two small worm drive or geared motors with Simtools 3 mixing yaw and surge as having each belt move seperately when cornering I found more immersive than just both moving when braking.

Do you guys know of any of mapping key strokes to Simtools 3 to pre tension the belts once buckled in?
Belts should be nice and tight but if I pull down before I race without a self locking worm drive motor I'm thinking I'll just reverse drive the motors when I pull the belts tight.

So essentially, I'm looking at some way of pre-setting the 'start' position via the software.

    Any thoughts much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Glenn

    sounds like a cool project.
