I've been thinking of building a racing sim for years, and after reading the success stories here I decided to sign up.

Your home page says Simtools can be downloaded, but even after signing up I find no way to do this... ?

Ok... Maybe the the home page should reflect this, rather than saying the software is available for download.

I race rFactor - can you recommend any other software/actuator systems that are currently available?

    Hello Harpo!

You can start thinking about your design:
    - 2DOF, 3 DOF or 6 DOF?
    - Aluminium structure or (welded) steel?
    - type of motor and voltage?
    - electronic boards?

I bet that public release will be available before you finished this and received all the hardware you need! :)

Meanwhile, we are interested by wht you will choose: tell us more!

    Yours
    Mat
