    Hi, I just received my monster moto shield and have wired up my sim according to RacingMatt's tutorial. However, whenever I power it, the motors just turn until they reach the end of the pot. At this stage, my pot saving system kicks in and the gear on the pot shaft slips. The motors continue to turn. The monster moto gets very hot. I have loaded RacingMatt's basic Simtools preset. The motors do not respond at all when I attempt to move them from within Simtools.
    Any help would be appreciated as I cannot figure out what's wrong.

    Sure, here are a few of the wiring and the gear system for the pots.
    The wiring is as follows:
    arduino Monster Moto
    A0 ---------------> AnalogIn0
    A1 --------------> AnalogIn1
    A2 --------------> AnalogIn 2
    A3 --------------> AnalogIn3
    4 -------------> 4
    5 ---------------> 5
    6 ---------------> 6
    7 ---------------> 7
    8 ---------------> 8
    9 --------------> 9
    GND --------------> GND
    5V ---------------> 5V
    A4 ------> Pot Right
    A5 ------> Pot Left
    The black wires go to the 12V battery. The left motor is connected to A1 and B1. The right motor is connected to A2 and B2 on the monster moto. The motors are the white wires.

    I would get some heat sinks on that monster moto if I were you.
