Good evening my fellow sim racers . I have a Stage 1 Sim Experience motion rig. The control unit is having issues there are four ports for the actuators . Ports 1 and 2 is what you would use for the setup that i have when you first purchase the kit . In the past two years port two went bad so I moved that actuator to port 3 per S.E troubleshooting solution. As of last week port one also stopped working so I moved that actuator to port 4 . I am now on port three and four. Anyone here have these issue? If so how did you resolve the issue. I am out of warranty and it will cost me $400.00 to get a replacement. Hoping someone did a DIY repair. There are two components in the control unit case. The main unit which house the fan and a separate pcb board that the ports are located. Not sure if the issue is with the port pcb or the main control unit. Any input would be great. Thank you!

Those things happens in some simxperience boxes, Best thing to do is keeping the ports that work and use just the power suply (usually a good reliable Meanwell) and then make new ports with this cheap ftdi controllers such these ones https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Tech-RS...s=rs485+usb+controllers&qid=1595767429&sr=8-3 Simtools will work with both simxperience box and the new controllers at the same time. Just asign the ports like always, Here, there is a thread that could help https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...mexperience-motionrig-to-simtools.5783/page-2. Good Luck
