DOF Reality offers a Smoothing dampers set which will dampen the slack in the motor gears as well as smooth out the overall motion for their motion plattforms.

Has anyone tried a similar concept for seat movers for now?

I'm thinking about trying it out to see if it improves the overall feel of the movement.

A little insight from the more experienced users would help make a informed decision. :cheers

Dampeners may mask backlash a little, as does slight positive weight bias, but at the same time create artificial resistance and hence greater load on motors and possible slight loss of motion fidelity.
