    I have no idea if I have to reply here or in another section (may be this thread is only for newcomers), so sorry in case.
    First of all thanks for the HUGE help of your post (rarely I found a welcome like that on forums), I will look in every single link suggestion you proposed.
    But one question cross my mind about DIY Sim Rigs:

    - the commercial Motion Simulators come with software included (mostly), that makes a union with the hardware, but what about the DIY ones?

    May be it's discussed inside the DIY section which I haven't yet explored.
