I bought motion rig just for Euro Truck simulator. But for some reason, the plugin couldn't be patched. Every time I tried, it said "The Selected Path is not Valid for Patching!". I tried different folders, sub folders, my document folder, my game folder... non of them worked.

After about a year of searching for the solution. I finally found it. So I want to share my experiences for those facing similar problems like me.

    #1.
To use Simtools for certain simulation, you have to Patch the plugin through Game Manager. Game Manager may ask Path for the patching. If the directory is not right (or maybe the Game Manager considers as it's not right), the plugin doesn't patch and simtools doesn't work whatever you do.

    #2.
In order to solve the situation, you'd better know what 'Patching' process does.
When simtools patch the plugin, 2 things happen.

First, simtools makes a cfg file to save patching path in following directory
    (C:>user>(user name)>AppData>Local>SimTools>GameManager>GamePathSaves)
if the game is Euro Truck Simulator 2, the file name would be 'EuroTruckSimulator2.cfg'.

Second, simtools makes a dll file to receive signals from the game in following directory
    (SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>Euro Truck Simulator 2>bin>win_x31>plugins)
if the game is Euro Truck Simulator 2, the file name would be 'SimTools_ETS2x64.dll'.

    #3.
So for some reason if the process of patching in above #2 is not working with saying "The Selected Path is not Valid for Patching!", all you need to do is MAKE those 2 files and put in the right directory. You may call this process 'Manual Patching'.

    #4.
Making first file is simple, turn on notepad and type right path for the patching and save.
Usually the right path is the root folder of the game (it depends).
In my case the path was 'F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2'
and save the file as 'EuroTruckSimulator2.cfg'.
and put this file in (C:>user>(user name)>AppData>Local>SimTools>GameManager>GamePathSaves)

    #5.
Making simtools dll file is... impossible (I guess...).
but I found most of simtools dlls file are the same, only the name is different.
So if you have any other game already patched, find the simtools dll file in 'Plugins' folder and copy the file.
I copied American Truck Simulator's file and rename it as 'SimTools_ETS2x64.dll'.
and put the file in (SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>Euro Truck Simulator 2>bin>win_x31>plugins)

I didn't try this process for any other games, so I'm not sure it works for other games as well. But if you have a problem like me, it's worth to try because it worked for me.

In my case, I had no problem using simtools for ETS2 for several years but just some day it didn't work after some kind of update. Same path, same folder structure, nothing changed but didn't work. Nothing works 100% so I guess there could be some people having troubles like me.
