    Hey,

I'm currently researching parts for a 2DOF seat mover and stumbled across the following motor gearbox combination on ebay:

    ebay de /itm/2-St%C3%BCck-Fahrmotor-Getriebemotor-Motor-mit-Getriebe-24-Volt-24V/253304908276

Unfortunately the seller has no information about the gearbox. According to him the vehicle had a top speed of 6km/h, which (if my math is correct) would work out to about 100rpm at the gearbox output shaft.

Is this realistic? I'm wondering because based on the output shaft orientation the gearbox doesn't seem to use a worm drive?

    Motor data:
    0.5kw
    3600rpm
    24v
    26A

I plan to drive this with 2x32 sabertooth and two 750W power supplies. Something like this (just the 720W version wich is not available ATM):

    ebay de /itm/Schaltnetzteil-DC-5V-12V-24V-48V-Netzteil-Trafo-LED-Strip-Power-Supply-HOT-GB/172957944210

Would that be viable? Thanks :)

It would likely work if you are confident about the specs and gearbox, do you know what the motor is out of and perhaps get more comprehensive specifications?

Unfortunately not. Based on the number of axles (three) it could be a 2-step helical gear box so the reduction should be plausible. I sent him an offer I cannot refuse let's see how it goes :).

    Thanks :)
