So it is getting close to the release of praydog's universal Unreal Engine VR Injector Mod that should bring a lot more cockpit games to VR. Got me thinking since they have a way to universally add VR to these Unreal Engine games, maybe they could get some telemetry data universally and seems a modder in the Flat2VR community discord thinks they can get useful data form UE like pawn position, rotation, velocity, forward vec, etc. in a universal way but would need to work with someone that can make that data into useful telemetry data for our rigs. How can we get the right people talking to each other to get this data out over UDP or to a MMF and make this influx of newly supported games happen?

I realize this thread is pretty old, but Space Monkey kind of seems to do exactly this to some degree. I don't think it's nearly as universal as the UEVR mod seems to be, but to my knowledge it seems to work in a similar way of pulling positional data out of game engines and outputting it in more typical telemetry fashion.

I agree. I was happy to see the developer working on it. Now that there is also UUVR, we need a "universal" way to get telemetry out of unity games too.

Oh, I didn't realize there was a Unity VR mod as well. Now I'm going to have to dig into that one too. Glad to see VR is still getting some attention.

It has a ways to go. Only 3dof right now I think. But got Tiny Combat Arena right into VR easily. I need to try to use opentrack with UUVR since TCA has trackir support.
