Hello guys, how are you? My name is Jose, a former Cessna pilot. I'm building a motion flight simulator following this tutorial: https://www.sckgaming.es/tutorial-2dof-motion/, and we are stuck at the step before purchasing SIMTOOLS.

We were wondering if it is possible to get a demo to check if it works properly, or if that option is no longer available and we need to buy the license directly.

    Many thanks for your help

In both SimTools v2 and v3 Beta the fully functional plugin is provided for Live For Speed, specifically for testing purposes, if that is what you mean: https://www.lfs.net/downloadlfs

LFS does need to be run before patching it for motion: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...run-in-first-person-mode-before-patching.365/

As you are starting out I would suggest SimTools v3 Beta, with the new integrated plugin system, as that is nearing release: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-v3.401/

Many thanks for the info. We tried already Simtools 3 and aparently there is something wrong coz simtools give us an error message , Something like Serial Interface #1 cant start. So We guess there is something wrong with the arduino or wiring because when using the SCM3 utils the motor starts moving in one direction only and the potenciometer only increases the speed in that direction. We checked already some posts here about SMC3 but nothing helps, nobody has the same problem. Any suggestions?
