Question Thanos vs. Motion4Sim

    Hi,

    I'm toying with the thought of giving my rig a big overhaul by switching from DC motors controlled by arduinos running SMC3 to AC servo motors (80ST-M2430 with AASD-15A drivers)

    To control those, most people seem to use either Thanos or Motion4Sim controllers.

    Can anybody here tell me what the advantages and disadvantages of both systems are?

    Also, there seem to be 2 sub-types for both. There is Thanos AMC and Thanos4U as well as a Standard and Pro Version of Motion4Sim. Quite confusing...

    Are there other controller options, similarly advanced like those mentioned above, that I missed?
