That's a very heavy rig - why? I although thought it was an interesting video in regard to the perceived requirements of the more 'serious' sim racers. He was complaining about having to hang onto the wheel - getting tired :p..- If he was in a real race car he would have similar issues, which is why just like in a real racecar you have to use seat belts... I do agree with his closing sentiments, which were hidden, but basically - once you get use to driving with motion, it is very hard to go back to a static rig.

Uses Xsim.de software, frame has significant side to side twist.
He and Darin used to get PAID to review rides when they did ISRTV together.

I think the asking price is way over the top, $5500 CAD including taxes. That could go along way to a DIY rig. IE one of the cons was the seat not being adjustable. Paid 40 for a fully adjustable out of a Benz. The frame work, canbe exhaust tubing, at 30 per 10ft lengths, lets say to be on the safe side, 120. Paint, 30. Various nobs, lets say 30. Cheaper if gotten bulk. To get the swivel/pivot, 30. I paid about 30 for two steel plates 24 x 18 and a cv joint welded to them. So $150 in materials to build some thing similar to this rig, not counting the actuators. Throw another 50 for some misc pieces such as the tie rod ends on the actuators, got mine for $15 for 4 from some site advertized by a fellow member. Biggest cost as we all know is the SCN5's and the Brain. $1500 or so. So all in all $1700 in material....

It doesn't really look like a professionally made sim imo. Sure, it is quite simple without any unnecessary bits and so on but I'm not sold on it. I don't like bagging out other peoples work but I think this could be improved upon quite a bit considering the cost.
Looking at this I sure am glad I went ahead a built my own.
