Trackmania² Plugin 2.0.2.0

I came across the possibility to build a proper plugin for Trackmania². So I had to build one.
I only own Trackmania²Valley, however the others should work as well.
It's really fun to play

Is this plugin still working with the Trackmania Canyon, Lagoon, Stadium & Valley demos on Steam?

I haven't been able to get them to work.

The Trackmania Turbo demo does still work (but it does seem to have some odd motion), just not these ones for me at least.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

The plugin is still working. There has not been an update of the ManiaPlanet API. So there might be an issue with your settings?
Can you copy them from Trackmania Turbo?

Yes, you are correct that the plugin seems to work.
I think the problem is on my end due to how confusing the TrackMania eco system is...there are so many versions with similar names!!!

I couldn't get TrackMania Nations Forever Steam version to work (or even open without SimTools being activated). but the stand alone non-Steam version works fine with both SimTools & motion.
Also, for some strange reason the Steam versions of the TrackMania2 demos of Canyon, Valley, Stadium & Lagoon all only have motion for a few minutes, then they cut out and I have to restart SimTools for it to work again for another few minutes.
Perhaps I should try some non-Steam versions if they are available?

I also own TrackMania United Forever (disc version), but that doesn't work
Then again, it's not a Trackmania 2 title, so I don't know if it should.
The SimTools plugin activates (shows connected and highlights blue) whenever I start the game, but there's no motion.
It's the stand-alone non-Steam version.

This bloody game has so many versions it's like a rollercoaster ride just trying to figure them all out!

I've went ahead and purchased the full version of Trackmania2 Stadium version on Steam.

Unfortunately I'm still having the same issue where motion works for roughly 5 minutes, then stops working until SimTools is restarted.

Then it just goes through that same 5 minutes or so cycle of working until SimTools is again restarted.

Too bad, because when it's actually working it's a blast!

I realize that it's an older game, but would someone else who owns it (or even the demos) be able to please test it out and confirm that I'm not going crazy here.

...or am I crazy???

No worries if there's no interest, as it's an older game and by all means shouldn't even really work at all with a motion platform.

BTW, this is on a completed new PC build, so everything is fresh as far as settings go...still the exact same issue though.

I like this game it is arcade racing but has unique physics

value1 kicked some butt in getting the plugin to work again, thanks dude.

It's a great arcade racer for when ya just wanna get in a do a few laps...or like 100 laps.

The Crew 2 plugin is also fantastic.

There are so many more games supported by the great authors here @ SimTools, than any other proprietary commercial rig pales in comparison.

Hi, can anybody confirm that the game still provides telemetry? I read some messages from forums that says telemetry is not functional anymore.

I want to buy lagoon from steam sale. Can anybody confirm works or not?

The last I checked they all worked with the plugin.
Same goes for the downloadable demos on Steam, so perhaps test with those first.
The Steam Sale is running until Jan 5th, so you have plenty of time to play around with the demos and decide from there.
