    G'day,

I have a DIY licensed installation which is working fine with my existing hardware over a two PC configuration.

I have bought a PRO license to study the extra features and connect up different hardware.

Can I install both versions on a single PC and run them from separately configured Icons?

    ie.
C:\Simtools = DIY License. (GameManager on the Main PC with GameEngine on the Second PC.)
C:\SimtoolsPRO = PRO License. (GameManager and GameEngine on the Main PC.)

    Thanks,

I don't expect so, given how configuration and licensing is stored in AppData, but @yobuddy is the one who can give a definitive answer.

But I don't really see the point, best to register the Pro license and enjoy the benefits.

I am developing version III of my g-seat with much better AC servo motor hardware and involves breadboarding and designing, as well as studying the PRO version for use down the track.

My DIY version II g-seat is working well with the existing set-up (my daily flier) and I would like to avoid compromising the interfacing by constantly jumping between setups if possible.

It would seem the easiest thing to do would be license the Pro version on whatever is your primary gaming computer, as that allows enabling and experimenting with additional modules like Game Vibe, if you are really paranoid do a backup first: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...thout-loosing-your-profiles-and-settings.160/

Then use a different computer with the DIY license for testing and dev work.
