I am starting to upgrade a Frex Simcon motion setup I purchased. I definitely want to go the U-Joint route, but trying to determine the best option since I do not have access to a torch or welder. Could I just use two of these flange yokes together with a U-joint in the middle or is that trouble?
    Thanks!

As long as there is free movement without binding it should be fine.

Do you have more information on those flanges? I had had a similar idea as well. I like what I have but it is very tall; it would be nice to lower my rig a bit.

This one would be perfect if you could find it. It's all one unit.
