    What's SimTools' updaterate?

    If I remember correctly X-Sim updates at around 60Hz, SX SimCommander at around 200Hz, but I can't find any info on SimTools.

    Especially interesting would be the following:
    - SCN Output Updaterate
    - GamePlugin Updaterate
    - Internal Calculations Updaterate (GameEngine?)

    Hi @bberger,

    I'll add what I can;
    - SCN Output UpdateRate - (I think someone tested the actual output rate - but I cant find the thread right now..)
    If your talking about what setting to use, it's how often you send a new target position to your SCN5. (in my experience 1 ms works fine)

    - GamePlugin UpdateRate - Game Engine processes incoming data as fast as the game delivers it. (depends on the game)

    - Internal Calculations UpdateRate - The axis assignment math is only done for what is needed.
    So the more axis, filters or dofs you use, the more it has to do.
    It can also depend on the PC specs.
    So this may vary a little from user to user
    2.0 should be even faster with a fully multithreaded 2d math engine.

    Maybe someone else has more info for you?
    take care buddy!

    For a 2DOF seat mover, 5 forces, and I used to beta test X-sim (vomits) , Simtools is the faster and lighter on resources I have seen.

    if 1ms is considered full wave: 1ms = 1000Hz (Hz = 1/T) or the inverse function to get ms is 1/f.
