Hello i was hoping to ask how much of an upgrade on the quality of motion is when going from V1.3 to V2+ of the simtools software? I don't have much money and it's a big expense for me. V1.3 was working fine for me until i started playing iracing again, have been having trouble finding a working plugin.
If it makes my rig run and feel better it would help justify trying to get the money together to upgrade.
I got my rig already built, really cheap off a friend of mine and have been slowly doing some upgrades and work on it. So i don't think i could qualify for a coupon code to upgrade for free unfortunately.

SimTools 1.3 is depreciated and there will be no plugin support.

Performance wise it depends a bit on the hardware you use, for JRKs there is a significant jump in performance wit SimTols 2, as it directly uses the JRK api. New tools are being built for the likes of 6DOF for SimTools 2.

One of the additional benefits of SimTools 2 is new companion apps like GgameVibe.

DIY builders can apply for a free DIY SimTools 2 license.
