As most of you I guess do, I use a 3mt. USB cable with a 4 slots USB hub for the JRKs.
In my case they're both USB 2.0 attached to a 2.0 USB PC port.

Is it worth upgrading port, cable and HUB to USB 3.0? Is there a noticeable difference (especially with Simtools 2.0)?

I don't think there is any value in upgrading, as nothing you are using will swamp the USDB2 data capability. If it works leave it be.
