    Hi all,
This is just an idea I've had while moving around the site.

What I thought is that if everyone who has a finished motion rig posts one or two videos on this thread with a small description and the link to there build thread, this would be great for new comers to get inspired and help them pick a design and see it in action.

Maybe make a sticky out of it !!

Sorry if this has been done before I did do a quick search, if you guys don't feel it will work then let me know and I will delete the thread!!

To be honest, that is actually not a bad idea.
People often need to search through a lot of projects to see what's going on and if it suits their needs. The projects often don't have videos and screenshots in first posts, but creators add them as they proceed with building, so first videos appear on later pages.

But it needs to be done in a different way, not in the topic like this because people would start asking questions, the topic could grow big and videos would be lost across the pages. But it could be done as a separated "showcase" page where no discussions would be allowed, just a video or a screenshot of motion rig with basic information and link to it's forum topic. And maybe adding an "random" motion rig video on the right side of the forum as an simple showcase add-on / widget.

    @Daguru : why not!
    there could be two options:

    - if you gather the links and short descriptions, I could paste them into a FAQ article
    but updates are burdensome

    - or like on some other forums (http://forum.virtualracing.org/show...instellen-des-OSW-Keine-Fragen-kein-Smalltalk)
you could start a thread prohibiting any "small talk"
    - same contents (video + short description in few lines + 1 topic link)
    - no reply, no small talk
    - everyone can contribute
    - a growing updated list
This way looks more collaborative then efficient but requires self-discipline and some clean up from time to time by an admin.

@RacingMat , as you have access to FAQ, if you intend to link any of my information, especially from other sources, I will appreciate seeing a PM asking me first.
If they just "appear", I can delete them from other sources, and make that FAQ not viable
