Ok my current PC is a

    i5 IvyBridge 3570k @4.2
    GigaByte GA-Z77-D3H Z77 MoBo
    16GB Memory (4x4GB) Corsair Memory XMS3 DDR3 1600 MHz
    Corsair Water Cooler
    4GB MSI GTX970 GAMING PCI-E
    Creative SB Recon3D PCI-E
    500W Corsair PSU
    3x 128gb SSD
    2 x 1tb HDD's
in a very old tower case.

My plan was to upgrade the Mobo, CPU and Memory that was it. Then I had this stupid idea that my imaginary friends when they come round wouldn't be able to join in and play in VR world with me, I had a :! moment. I still have my DK2 so why don't I just build a new PC they can play sat down whilst I'm in motion :p

    Anyways the searching began for best bang for buck parts. Here is what I bought;

    i7 SkyLake 6700k - Ebay £190 - Used
MSI Z170A KRAIT Gaming Mobo - Amazon £115 - New
    Viper Elite Series DDR4 3000mhz 16GB (2x8GB) - Amazon £65 - New
CoolerMaster Water Cooler - Amazon £40 - New
    ASUS GTX980Ti STRIX DC3 OC - Ebay £460 - New
    Thermaltake Challenger 700W PSU - Amazon £45 - New
    120GB SSD - Amazon - Amazon £34 - New
    1TB Seagate Barracuda - Amazon £39 - New
In Win GR One E-ATX USB 3 Full Tower Case - Amazon £90 - New

Just over a £1000 for the lot which I don't think is too shabby. I could of done it cheaper but I had a grand in mind so I'm happy I think :D

Everything will come before my Rift arrives, so its all gravy :)
