wanted to built 3 DOF...need help

    hi all,

    i have read this blog for few weeks already and wanted to built 3DOF motion simulator

    i have bought 3 wiper motors 12V and i noticed there r many types of motor controller including JRK, sim and arduino....

    at the moment im thinking wanna use arduino...just im not sure how much arduino uno R3 are needed and motor monster needed.....??
    can also u guys share me link how to connect them with DC motors...

    im interested to built some thing like below.......
    im everything going fine...i wanna start built asap :D

    Be aware that ground isolation is necessary for wiper motors: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/wiper-motor-mandatory-ground-isolation.25/

    The 3DOF you have pictured is driven by powerful AC motors. Wiper motors would struggle and would benefit from greater leverage in the design. I use big wormdrive motors on my 3DOF: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/dx-racer-compact-simulator.5866/

    they can't...

    They are not really fast (35rpm is slow, you need at least 50-60) and torque for 3 dof is not enough (even with 4 motors I'm not sure they can do the job using a spring)...

    Maybe try to find motor where the power is 250W/350W.

    The power you need to move something like you want to build, is impossible with 3 wiper motors, again, look for at least 250watts and up
    Check:
    Volts (12/24/110/220v)
    Amps (15 amps min. at least for 12v)
    Torque usually put in Nm
    RPM: this point is relative to the other points, could be low rpm like 25rpm but with high power/torque so you can use a longer lever to get more speed.
