As ive been looking through the forum, not that im lazy but it would be sweet to have a kind if what fits with what list.

As im not a electronics geek in the matter of ac/dc i have basic skills and would like to see a kind of atleast a list of prooven for instance electric motors etc.
I know all rigs are different depending of your needs, but as i look at Ebay and my suppliers my head starts spinning :).

The control system is about the same. Some ppl prefer JRK some Ardinous and the other brands.
What is compatibel to xsim software as it seems as all aint.

So a list of good reliable products that works hassle free so to speak would be glady appretiated.

These forums are a wealth of information a little search will answer all your questions.

Arduino and jrk work just as good as each other. Arduino has a little more to setup.

Motors are many and there is no "one" motor for all. Everyone has different but again a little search will bring up the most common ones.

@Nick Moxley has a nice design to work from, look up his thread. He uses 12v 200 watt motors and JRKS. The jrk is the easiest to set up, granted it costs more. No coding.

Thnx m8 for the tip. That rig is really sweet, dont know if it can be squeezed down in size though. I need to plan this build a bit ahead to get the most out of it i think.
And there is a ton of nice and superb ideas in this forum. Plus there is skilled and cunning in all areas it seems wich is handy when you are a novice :).

My rig is a whopping 21" wide (excluding the traction loss base) and like 80" long. There's Much bigger rigs than mine, thats for sure. lol

A regular 2Dof can also do heave as it is just another Axis of motion you can Turn ON in the settings. I would suggest starting with a 2Dof, Understand the hardware and software. THEN you can upgrade and everything will be THAT much easier as you already know what your doing (for the most part)
