I FINALLY got my chinese H-Bridge (its alot smaller than expected) To Test, I am going to hook up a HeatSink and Fan to it, to hopefully push a few more amps out of it.

Should I make the heat sink(s) touch the MOSFETS? Or should it be touching the capacitors?

yeah bsft got it right. i posted it in a previous thread.. It has a rating of 10amps with peaks of 60amps..

My ambitious plan is to create the code for an arduino so I and others can create the electronics for just a $20 Arduino board, and $30 H-Bridge (for 2 motors) or two for upto 4 motors...

*disclaimer- jrks are my backup plan

As you probably gathered Im not an electronics buff, So i'm taking a stab in the dark here. I'll be sure to let everybody know how they go.

that makes it more dificult that they cant touch a heat sink that touches another one? is there current going through them?

I think the metal case of the mosfet is earthed so having them touch each other could be bad, consider, each mosfet may not be working exactly as its buddy next to it.

If you want to use one/two heatsinks, isolate the mosfets with thermal pads
