    hello everyone
hope you are all keeping safe and well
my problem started 2 weeks ago, after months of trouble free sim racing my pc started to make the sound of USBs disconnecting and reconnecting after 1 minute of use my dash display would crash(ultimate game tech)about 5 minutes later my fans would also crash (sim racing studio) I have spent massive time on this issue such as cleaning and checking all USBs,turning off power management and disabling USB suspension I've been onto Microsoft and did their suggestions including windows upgrade (this took 2 attemps)but nothing changed, last night I turned off game manager and game engine so mr rig would not work, and yes everything worked perfectly the dash was fine, the fans were fine and no sound of USBs disconnecting and reconnecting.as soon as I started game engine and game manager all the problems came back.everytime I have used my motion sim tools has been faultless its never missed a beat, it works perfectly I don't understand what's gone wrong, it seems like sim tools is upsetting something in my pc I have also checked all drivers are up to date ,has anybody got any ideas
    thanks Dave
ps the in game motion is faultless,no hint of a problem with sim tools

My guess is that there are some interference induced usb interrupts, which SimTools is sensitive to.

Careful cable management and clip on ferrite magnets to reduce interference may help.
