Wiper Isolation

    Helping a friend to build sims with wiper motor. want to clarify cable ground. I already read some thread that talk about it and FAQ section, but still dont confidence.

    Is it the yellow circle is ground cable?
    Is it enough to cut it and isolate with tape to proceed?or i should do anything else.

    I really dont have idea about electronic:(

    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF, DC motor, SCN5, Arduino
    i would try unscrewing that screw you have circled before i cut it. Then use a multimeter or test light between that wire and the casing of the motor. If you don't get anything then you should be good.

    you will also likely find that the black cable in the plastic connector doesn't connect anymore so fashion up a way to connect your lead to the circle you disconnected.
