This may be a silly question but can I somehow interface the TNGames Force Vest with X-Sim software :?:
If it can be done it would be cool. 8)

Yes my thoughts were to drive the vest using X-sim as input and disregard their proprietary plugin.

If I can't drive it directly, I could bypass their USB enabled Decoder and tap into the pneumatic controllers built into the vest, but this might get messy as I would then also need to wire in a power supply as the pneumatic controllers draw from the USB connection.

You can feel differences of forces from the actuators in the vest so unless it uses very high speed pulses, high enough that you can't feel the ripple to control the strength of the body 'poke', it may instead have servos built into the valves. If servo's are the case using a velleman board as the controller would be under-utilising the vests capability.

It would be nice to be able to control this vest directly with X-Sim so we can add it as an extra peripheral for a car or fps simulation.

If I can't drive it directly with X-Sim I am very tempted to unpick the seams and look at the internals.
