I am using the outsim plugin with live for speed and find the acceleration data moves (without speed change) from + to- this would make the sim move by itself back and foward under constant acceleration, has anyone struck this problem

    Hi CW,

    welcome to our forum!

Could you describe us this phenomenon a little closer? How much does the data move in percent?
Never used it. But maybe its not a outsim bug, but a lfs bug. Perhaps the vehicles could drive more faster than they are allowed through the settings of the game. Like real cars.

For example, some cars, in real, disable the gasoline pump if you reach the maximum speed programmed in the car control box. If you have enough engine power to overdrive the rev limiter programmed for the last gear, the engine gets only gasoline again, when your revs are under the programmed maximum again. Maybe its similar with LFS.

    Just a suggestion:
Perhaps the max speed for each car is setted up anywhere in the game directory. The max speed could be regularised to keep similiar chances for players with different cars (like some other arcade games ) Try to disable it

Would like to know for which purpose you are using outsim?;)

BTW: IMHO the translation programms are useless. At least if you want to translate technical topics.

    regards

    x-sim

Gidday, yeah I came to realise that the translation programs arent the best when i re-translated my own German translation!
I have my problem solved now. The answer was in the x-sim LFS plug in page but I couldnt have translated it correctly.
I ended up using the wrong number of outsim force I was using y acceleration but it kept cycling from + to - which of course made the sim move forward under accel sometimes, but the website said use force No. 40 and problem solved.. I gotta add that I have been experimenting with LFS and FS9 with X-sim software and it is absolutely brilliant and I think more people should be getting into it,
    Cheers
    Craig

    Re: x-sim

Your simualtor is amazing! Im very pleased to hear that it works with x-sim although it isnt a pneumatic system.

Could you, by chance, present your project in short words here:
    http://www.x-simulator.de/forum/integra ... s-f22.html

Would be great if you could tell us some of your experiences with the building of your simulator.
