We can only suspect that it will be as it was with Dirt and Grid. But - it will be new engine (EGO 2.0) thats why 3D setup might be implemented in main menu of the game. Codemaster said already about this as a feature of theirs future engine . Maybe they were telling about F1 2010 or Dirt3. If that will be like that then lucky me - i am looking forward for dual output 3D implemented in Grid 2!!!

BTW - check all development diary from F1 and new trailer from Dirt3. EGO 2.0 engine looks great, specially in case of weather conditions.

It will be compatible for sure, in one way or an other.

I`ve read this game is developed by old engine - only heavily modify in case of graphic and ralism of driving. EGO 2.0 will be introduce with Dirt3 and Grid2 (whichever will be first).

This means old setup will work !

Press Bild in Originalgröße, to see the pics in fullsize.
It is obvious by simply comparing the helmet :)

... just installed it ... not very impressed with sounds and sense of speed ... graphics are great but not incredible also(did not try the rain effect). But hey I only gave it a very quick try ... 5 mins ... working from home today ;-)

Also typical annoying slow codemasters menus and initial MS live connexion ...

Sad to say and I hope I am wrong with this one but very often big marketing new game campains hides a not so great game ...

Will try it more tonight or tomorrow with optimized settings ... At least motion will be a great addition for sure!

I just installed it as well and motion is working with the same settings as DIRT 2. I'm working on a profile and will post it later this evening. I've only played it a few minutes but so far the graphics are very nice but I agree with bleco about the typical slow codemasters menus and also about the sense of speed. I don't have anything optimized yet so I'll give it a chance and comment again after I've played if for a few more hours.

You both have a triple screen setup, while F1 2010 does not support multi-screen setups.
I guess it could be caused by to insufficient FOV.

Btw, the DX11 pics are amazing.

hmmm... maybe... but F1 2010 with 3 monitors as a quite high FOV. Something like 125-130 if compared with Iracing...

Probably will have to tweak some camera settings like past codemasters titles...

I think the actual FOV is good and it looks fine on my triple screens. I'll make some graphical adjustments and optimize frame rates when I get back to playing in a bit and see what happens..

You may try out to disable DX9 in the cfg file, to see how it rocks with DX11.
I wonder if the FOV is tweakable via the cfg file.
Could you post the cfg file please?

A video with your triple screen setup would be great! Preferably on the Singapur night track.

...Btw, if you hurry up, you could be the first one posting a video with F1 2010 on a motion simulator.

And posting a video would make some SimConMotion users pretty jealous I guess :D

LOL. I've been playing F1 for the past 2 hours and I'm really liking it. Racing in the rain has never been more fun and challenging :)

I have a triple crossfire setup so I'm still tweaking things to try and get the best performance. I may try to disable DX9 and run with DX11 to see how much better things are.

I'll be posting a video sometime later tonight just for you Ego :)

I have a profile that I will be uploading in a few minutes for you guys to try out. It's still work in progress but feels pretty good so far.
