I think it may be referring to the adjustment of weight balance. Which is possible. I did this test ages ago with a seat rails.
The motors/actuators-pivot were connected to a frame. Then sitting on that was seat rails and another frame holding the seat and a bolt in arrangement for the pedals. The adjustment was moving the seat rails back or forth to suit the weight of the driver.
Its worked well considering it was a trial. I used the idea more for a seat mover (rails forward) and full frame addition (rails back) . So I had the better of the two sim designs.

    You may be correct but I was making an assumption based on this;
    • Patented load-compensating ForceAssistTM technology maximises performance while minimising actuator power

Heres photos of the previous mentioned simulator.
You can see in the photos the difference in placement of the seat- wheel pedal frame

@ohno, @jonmho, @rodoger: Having no Atomic I'm flying in the dark with the plugin. It might work – or not ;)

Unpack simphynity_2_0_game_plugin.dll and copy it to your SimTools directory (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\SimTools)
Set the axis and interface like in the examples below:
    Axis Assignments.png

    Interface Settings.png
Let me know if there is any reaction.

Sorry, but you *must* select "binary" rather than "decimal" in the interface settings! I'll fix the picture later.

Thank you, @ohno, for these instructions! They are very helpful. This probably opens another way.

The plugin is supposed to work like any other original game plugin from Atomic. The start of GameEngine should activate the plugin. I have to investigate more.

    Thank you so far!

@ohno, @jonmho, @rodoger: Next approach. This time I did some more debugging and my level of confidence is higher :) Still: It might work – or not ;)

    Unpack SimTools_GameEngine.dll.
The DLL must be placed in the 'gameplugins' subdirectory of the main SIMPHYNITY installation directory.

Please make sure you have the following settings in your SimTools axis and interface
    Axis Assignments.png
    Interface Settings.png
If you see no reaction please rename
SimTools_GameEngine.dll to GameEngine.dll and SimTools_GameEngine.exe (in the SimTools directory) to GameEngine.exe
The plugin will only include surge, sway and heave at the moment.
    Thank you for feedback!

please extract the SimTools_GameEngine.dll manually from the zip-file and move it manually to the plugin folder of your Symphynity program. Don't use the installer of SimTools :)

AMS Simphynity 2.2b now supports SimTools with plug-in support. Following Simphynity instructions, I now have movement with my AMS Atomic A2 through SimTools. Now I just have to get enough "coins" to download a game plug-in.

The Atomic A2 is a commercial simulator, @yobuddy is there a commercial agreement for the legal use of SimTools via Simphynity 2.2b?

This explains the coin system, which is to encourage participation: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-how-to-get-them-and-how-to-give-them.74/

You can also purchase access to plugins: http://www.xsimulator.net/simtools-motion-simulator-software/

It is not a question of sparing coins @bsft. For me it clarifying with @yobuddy if there is in fact a commercial agreement for a commercial product and if there is then access to plugins should be via that agreement.
