The DK2 is a development device, so it has its limitations and takes some tweaking to get the best out of it.

Some advice regarding the Rift, it can take some people a bit of time to acclimatise to using the Rift. If you feel a bit off stop straight away, if you continue the unpleasant affects can last for hours and your brain tends to associated that later. So small use often is a good idea to start with. A small percentage of people are just naturally sensitive and never seem to acclimatise.

It is not so much the resolution that makes people feel ill, but rather what you see not being quite what your brain expects. There are a number of causes, low frames per second (you need to maintain 75FPS), judder, which is where the computer is not powerful enough to process the graphics smoothly, lag, which is the slight latency delay it takes to process graphics and movement and movement that is unnatural, such as a first person shooter where you are seated but what you a playing depicts moving around in different directions.

You can tweak the graphics settings to improve things like FPS. You do need a pretty powerful computer and high end graphics card, such as the Nvidia GTX 970 or 980. The motion profile for VR needs less axis movement and high precision, else you risk having you brain registering a mismatch between what you see and what your brain expects.

SLI with the Rift can also be an issue because of the inherent processing time of the additional hardware. AMD and Nvidia are working on it. It will get better but is not there yet.

Hence why a single powerful card is the current recommendation from Oculus.

i didn'know that sli configuration isn't support... i can say that in this moment i have a sli of gtx 780 and one evga gtx 970, but i don't see many difference....maybe the only one difference is that the gtx 970 doesn't have stuttering. But if i see the gpu usage in sli configuration i see that boths gpu don't arrive to 50%.....so i could think that pj cars doesn't support sli....

i have a question...but when i connect the rift and i try to navigate in the sub menu of pj cars, for example in resolution, i must see onlt the resolution of my lcd monitor that is a 1600x1200...so with the rift i cannot change this parameter to 1920x1080....so the question is:
do the rift resolution change automattically?
