I have emailed the following to the Elite Dangerous developers and will let you know if I get a response:

    Hi there.

Elite Dangerous is doing a wonderful job of resurrecting and reinvigorating space sims.

The integration of the Oculus Rift and excellent implementation of HOTAS controls has enhanced game immersion and players are looking to extend that further. Hence I would like to draw your attention to current Xsimulator discussion regarding motion simulation and space sims: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...project-newbie-builder-alert.4466/#post-61250

As Elite Dangerous is under current development would it be possible to incorporate access to motion data? I appreciate that doing so may not be possible when there are substantial other development priorities but there certainly is player interest in motion peripherals to further their immersion in Elite Dangerous.

    Your consideration is deeply appreciated.

Sorry if this is a dupe somewhere... These guys seem to pull some kind of telemetry data out of Elite Dangerous (from memory?).

So sounds like a hack to me.
Due to the continued development a pain to keep up with new versions...

As yet there is no stated timeline for SimTools bass shaker support @djbordie. Some use SimVibe alongside SimTools.

    Interesting, I also have simvibe.

however they have no support for Elite Dangerous.
I believe the SimTools takes the telemetry from the memory, so I dont think simvibe+simtools+ED would do anything correct?

or is there a way to get the data to output to the shakers through simvibe somehow?
