    I do like it
    - gratuit pour une utilisation non-commerciale
    - installation peu invasive : j'ai dupliqué le répertoire d'installation d'un PC sur un autre et ça fonctionne !! c'est en fait un logiciel "portable"

Yes it is great to have native French speakers and the likes of @RacingMat have extensive experience.

However, if you do not include an English translation via Google Translate it takes time for other members such as myself to work out who may need help and who is just posting a comment.

As we have bi-lingual speakers from many different language groups, including French, if Google Translate really messes it up they can help clarify what was intended.

It's a mine of knowledge here, but that's true if like me, you have difficult to read and write in english you need 1 hour to read a post  . (I'm not proud of it ^^ ).
And google translate fail a little.
Heureusement qu'il sont cool et qu'on se fait pas lyncher sur le forum quand on fait une entrave sur la langue ^^.

    you're perfectly right!
but I agree with @francky foor that this single topic could be the exception where french could post only in french.
Here they would not wait for english speaker's help ;)

the title is in french: it could be a sort of informal french tchat room.

    tout à fait d'accord !
mais comme le dit Francky foor ce sujet (avec un titre en français) pourrait être un topic informel pour causer français sans se soucier de traduire ici... et en contre-partie, il ne faudra pas attendre d'aide des anglophones :)

Then may I suggest @RaceRay be asked to create a Social Chat section which can be organised by language groups, rather than this thread being in the Forum and Website section. The benefit of a separate section is that members can then filter what they do and don't want notifications for.

I disagree it splits the forum up, most English speakers don't understand French.
But if its a social area no simulator talk then ok , I can see the point.

I very much agree with @eaorobbie, that the simulator build related threads should not be diluted.

My intention in suggesting a Social Chat section by language group was as social chat only, as that was what @RacingMat had indicated was what the users of this thread were after.

That should leave all sim related interactions in their proper sections and if language is an issue then I believe we should encourage dual posts, like I have done here: http://www.xsimulator.net/community...mmunauté-francaise-ici.6861/page-2#post-80576

@RaceRay : I agree with @eaorobbie and @noorbeast : a single post for tchating in french is fine
Whereas a whole sub-section may dilute the sharing of about simulator tips and project progress...

But the time where I was able to read 100% of the posts is far away... there are too many messages now and I cannot read them all. So in this way a sub-section could be relatively harmless related to the huge amount of messages?...
