Just throwing an idea: can this be related to UDP packets being dropped...?

[Edit] => Nope, just checked and no packet is dropped :/

Bringing @Avenga76 back on this thread :) I know your post is almost one year old, but since I meet the same problem... Full screen really was your only change? I have the exact same behaviour in full screen :(

    Hello.
    I have a small problem.
I would like to start simtools and simdash.
the problem is that for simtools in the next line
    Documents / my games / Dirt Rally / hardwaresettings / hardware_settings_info
    I <udp enabled = "true" extradata = "3" IP = "127.0.0.1" port = "4123" delay = "1" />
and to operate simdahs I must:
    <Udp enabled = "true" extradata = "1" IP = "127.0.0.1" port = "20777" delay = "1" />
as soon as I change the port or is simtools works or is simdasch.
I asked myself if I want to run with the simtools 20777 Port How do I do

    Up :(

Telemetry data seems to be somehow related to graphic settings: few people got similar problem solved by changing the graphical options or rendering in full screen, and I notice when setting up the game on "ultra low" we loose this data.
I've tried everything from drivers update to switch from win7 to win10, all possible graphical options and still go the same issue :(

@value1 , could it be possible to add a filter in the plugin itself? Something simple like "if sway = 0 and roll is not 0 then ignore sway value" This way the plugin would ignore all those zeros unless the game is actually stopped/paused.

I'm keen to hear every other suggestion :)

Hello everyone, since the last update (Version 1.2), I have more movement on the surge and sway axes. I deleted the file hardware_settings_config in Steam and I deleted the DiRT Rally folder in My Documents. I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin after deleting all data Simtools on DiRT Rally. The problem persists, only these two axes do not work and I see it on Virtual Axes.
I would want to know if other people have the same problem or if it is my installation.
    Thank you in advance :)

@Vef445 , I had already tried with your plugin, but it does not solve my problem. Simtools work properly after this update with you?

@Trafalgar mine did the same not sure if the update had anything to do with it but mine is now all ok not sure how as all i did was remove all trace of dirt rally in all folders found here
C:\Users\Daguru\AppData\Local\SimTools ( swap daguru with your username of course ) re installed plugin and patched for motion then went to C:\Users\Daguru\Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally\hardwaresettings copied hardware_settings_config and pasted it in here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DiRT Rally\system (your dirt install folder)

i have no idea how or why the sway, surge and heave motion came back but its worth a try hope you fix it i was gutted when it happened to me

@Daguru , sorry for the late reply, but I was on holidays :D. I tried the method, but it does not work for me, thank you anyway. I would make just a clarification, the axes Heave, Roll and Pitch are working well. Someone has another idea ?

Will this plug in work for all versions of the PC game? I am still new at the coin concept, so when I hit the 250 coins I can have access to the collection of addons for a week where I can burn up to my 250 coins but only have one week to do it?

Plugin works with steam version which as far as I'm aware is the only version out ( steam keeps it up to date )

If you mean will this plugin work with all the different PC games Codemaster puts out then no, each has its own plugin which can be found in the Plugin Download section, for example:

    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-dirt-showdown-plugin.18/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-dirt-rally-plugin.140/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-f1-2016-plugin.169/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-f1-2014-plugin.131/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-f1-2013-plugin.72/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-f1-2012-plugin.21/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-f1-2011-plugin.20/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-f1-2010-plugin.19/
    https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/codemasters-dirt-3-plugin.17/

If you mean where there may be a Steam and CDROM version, say like Dirt3, then as long as they are the same then the plugin will work, but if the CDROM version is changed for Region or language or does not have the same updates then no. I had no problems with the Steam and CDROM version of Dirt3, both worked.

Yes you can download as many plugins you want with the coin purchased access, but only for 1 week: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-how-to-get-them-and-how-to-give-them.74/
