Hi, i´ve tried everything possible but my slider doesn´t move, maybe i´m doing something wrong but i really don´t know what it is.
    1. I installed sim tools and all the components
    2. I downloaded the project cars udp plugin and updated it in sim tools.
    3. I created an empty .txt file in a folder located on my desktop and patched it
    4. I loaded the plugin in the game manager, game engine, game dash and tuning center and also press the capture max/min
    5. I opened the udp .exe file (it receives inmediatly the signal)

In theory everything seems right but still no signal, I also tried to reinstall and reboot everything several times and nothing works, any ideas? I´m using windows 10 in my laptop and the game runs in xbox one. (sorry for my english)

I finally made it. I don´t knnow if somebody already commented about it, but it´s important to setup the interface setings and axis assignments, in windows 10 my PC dind´t recognize any ComPort so I had to download a virtual ComPort software and that was the key.

Yes, this is the first thing to do, as detailed in the XSim documentation package. Without proper interface/axis nothing will work. This can be annoying if you just want GameDash to work, but as far as today there is no other workaround.

Since i'm having issues with the normal pcars plug-in @SilentChill recommend me to give this plug-in a try.

I have installed the plug-in and the data is received according to VB_UDP_Receiver.exe but nothing is displayed in gamedash.

I'm pretty sure i have the dash settings correct in game manager

UPD in game is set at 2

    Am i missing something ?

Be careful, you shouldn't launch both VB_UDP_Receiver and XSim. Only one process can open the UDP port at the same time.

    Thanks,

At first i tried using Xsim and simdash only, when that didn't work i used the VB_UDP_Receiver to check the connection to the game.
Just game it another try, but simdash is not working at all with the plug in. Anything else i could try.

Have you setup GameEngine fully, including axis assignments and interface settings ? Even if you need only GameDash, you have to configure those. You should see axes moving in output testing.

    Thanks @vthinsel

No i didnt assign any axis or interface settings. Without it though, game dash does work in Iracing and AC. I will try this and report back, really gratefull you are helping me out.

What interface settings do i need to setup in game engine, when using gamedash only?

    Hi,
I did all the following steps:
    1. Install the plugin in a directory path with an empty file called PCARSUDP.txt (directory not in pCars)
    2. Launch Game Manager and select the UDP plugin
    3. Launch pCars game
    4. Open notepad.exe

But when i look the GameManager the selected plugin swich to pCars plugin (the regular one, not UDP)
    Why this happen? Any ideas?

Both can't co-exist. Unpatch the legacy one, then delete it.

    Ok thanks, now it works.
I installed this plaugin to get the RPM ouput in Arduino Uno and flash some red, yellow and green leds. Do you have the connection code for aduino for the UDP comunication protocol?
    Thank you in advance

Hi, I am planning (or at least trying to plan) my future 3dof with traction loss. Luckily I ended reading today this Simtools-Plugin-ProjectCarsUDP post.
Really a plugin that will let me keep on playing with my colleagues on PS4? Great idea! Now I just need to start building my sim :)
Just curious ... does the same exist for Assetto Corsa (PS4)?
    Rgds.

No AC UDP plugin as yet, just Pcars at this stage.
