Dont know, i was standing on one actuator and it was lifting me plus the quarter of the rig .. A friend with hyperaxis did the same, they stalled :) Check the parts , i think you can calculate this ..

Thank you very much! The best contribution to the forum of 2018!
Do you know how much speed you got? and also rpm of the servos?
    Thanks anyway!

Degrees depends on the placement of the actuators ... didnt measure mine
The Servos go up to 3000 rpm, the Ball Screw is a 5 mm per round ...

The servo motors' nomenclature makes me think they are MiGE servos, as used with OSW direct drive FFB.

If they are MiGE, then they can be custom ordered with a BiSS absolute encoder.

@Ringorumble @saxxon66 would the BiSS encoder be supported and would it be superior ? (no phasing to index)

@saxxon66 Maybe saxxon can tell, i dont know. The motors incl the encoder works fine, the centering method we use works fine so maybe no need for an absolute encoder ?!?
The goal is and was that people can build it cheap, reliable, easy to fix.At the moment the software let you only write your own telemetry Providers (e.g. game plugins in Simtools) maybe saxxon implements also a way to create your own code driving your custom motors

No, you can not change it.

Goal of this project is to build the actuator based on our instructions.
So everyone will have the same experience and we can work togethere on the same basis.
The Software is specialized for this setup.

Encoder has 10000 CPR resolution, so do the math. Slope is 5 mm.
It is more than you will ever need for a motion sim.
Absolute encoder would be nice, but that was not an option.

Maybe later we will support other configurations and motors.

    Great project,

After seeing the 2 hour tutorial video in German, i immediately ordered the Servos on Aliexpress.

Today i finished the rest of the shopping list, so things are set in "motion" :D

    A couple of things:

-Join amazon prime, even if it's just for one month, to get free shipping on almost everything.
-Don't get fooled by the ending discounted prices of the servos on ali express, they have a new sale every day / week
    - It seems like with every seller you pay per servo for shipping, negotiations have little to no use.
If you buy 4 servos, you almost pay 4 times the shipping cost. They did ask me if it's ok to lower the total amount for customs, so i pay lower import taxes.

In the meanwhile the MK3 is doing it's thing

One question, i'm almost only running rFactor2 is this game on your todo list for the software development? Asking because i suck at coding......better said can't code at all :(

Thanks for sharing this wonderful project

We could make an interface plugin for these, so they could be used in SimTools also, if the control protocol is posted somewhere?
Does anyone know if the control protocol is detailed anywhere?

I made a mistake with that, those bearings are not the same as the ones you need even though they have the same name "LMEK30UU"
