Hiya you need to tag us in the post properly like @SilentChill or else it will not come up in our notifications :)

Great work by the way, looking forward to seeing it all setup and in action ;)

edit: I hope you've got plenty of fans pushing air through your controller box

Just like SilentChill said, you have to use the right tag if you want us to get a notification from your thread (@Pierre Lalancette ).

Just found it, just read it, right at the last streach before the end. (It`s never finish.)

And just like SilentChill, I was worried about the air flow in your electronic's box.

Your actuator looks powerful and I'm looking foward to see them in action.

SilentChill provided me with all his setting. I'm sure they could be useful to you:
    6 DOF from scratch

    Keep on the good work!

Have you tried getting a 10turn hall effect to test ?

    https://uk.farnell.com/bourns/amm20b5a1clasl380/position-sensor-multiturn-42mm/dp/2292033?ost=amm20b&ddkey=https:en-GB/Element14_United_Kingdom/search#

Thats what I am getting for my upgrade, they are rated at 500rpm which should just about cut it for these actuators

edit: also how does the frame feel is there any flex in it ? i guess you cant tell until you get it all up and running properly :)

Is that your final cockpit design? If so, I predict allot of flexing and then the metal will fatigue near the joint and fail just like this:

You will then fall a good distance right into your electronics . Note: In the video the weld did not fail, it was the actual metal near the weld/joint - fixed with metal gussets.

Recommend you put in a cross brace between the two front supports and then gusset all the main joints.

Was that movements only with the interface?
If yes, you have so much tuning to make, it oscillates everywhere...
    Different speeds and accelerations.

The first thing I would do is to check your smc3 values:

    upload_2019-1-21_18-26-39.png

I had choppy movement on my rig and I put Fpid at 4 or even 5 to smooth it out. I put my Fpwm at 25hz since it did not seem to change much anithing. Also, play with Kp. In a tutorial, it says that Kp was the value with most affect on the movement. Test it out from 350 to 500. To tell you the true, I did not see much difference with Kp, but change Fpid if its too low.
