    They are, but 4 actuators may needed if cockpit is fully loaded with onboard display... better load management

    Yeah I am leaning more towards 4 actuators setup now, besides load management, I think there might be clearance issue mounting one actuator in the front since the pedal might get in the way.

    Maybe another option for you... I've just been speaking with Simlab and they're happy to customise a P1-X for me with a front cross beam. This is what I'm leaning towards, with 2 actuators at the rear corners and 1 at the the front in the middle.

    Cool, that's a great idea, let me know how it works out for you. My concern is still on the clearance with the pedal deck. Also, I have been looking at the GT1 Evo cockpit more, I like that it sits on the ground lower, slightly smaller and lighter weight which allows the actuator to be even more responsive, wonder if they can do the same front cross beam section same as the P1-X. With the 3 actuators setup along with the lower price of GT1, the difference is price overall is pretty significant.

    In terms of the clearance issue I measured my current setup from the the front point of the pedal deck to the rear point of the seat mount rail. It came to 120cm so I'm fairly comfortable I'll be able to mount my seat in a normal position without the pedals needing to overlap the front of the frame. The Simlab frames are 140cm long.

    I was also looking at GT1 EVO for the same reasons as you mention. It'll be lighter and allow actuators to perform better. However, it's also less rigid both in terms of mounting the actuators and the wheel deck. Maybe you can do some modifications yourself to beef it up slightly where needed, and have benefit of all the saved weight elsewhere. I think either rig would work fine though, it's just trying to decide what is most important and what you're willing to compromise on.

    For adding the front cross beam to the GT1 Evo I'm sure they would do that for you. There were happy to help when I asked. The piece you need is exactly the same as they provide for the rear cross beam, so there's nothing special they have to cut for you, just provide two of them instead of one. The other option is to just order some aluminium profile from eBay and modify things yourself. That's the beauty of having an 8020 rig :)

    Can someone confirm if there is something missing in this kit? Controller!?!

    I am very interested and would like to have an idea of the total cost for a Plug & Play product.

    This photo shows the more expensive version with Nano controller (not sure how much)

    But you can request the same with AASD-15 Servos and includes a AMC-AASD15A controller in the value and still cost less:

    3DOF
    3 Mega-Monster Actuator which mounted perpendicular
    1 set of AMC-AASD15A controller (up to 6DOF)
    3 set of AASD15A servo driver (flange size 80 with 750w)
    3 set of floor contact cups
    3 set of servo actuators ( speed:250mm/s,force:150kg,stroke/150mm)
    3 set of U brackets
    3 set of power and encoder cables (3meters long)
    Shipping by express to final destination ,3,199USD

    One thing I cant quite figure out is the difference between the AASD servo vs the nano box or MDbox? For the AASD with 3 actuators, does it mean it plugs into 3 seperate box vs one larger box like the pictured setup? I would prefer it do be all going to one box if possible, any functionality downside to this?

    The size of three AASD-15A servos is not that much larger... see them next to each other. Top is the 3in1 and below the three single ones...

    Yeah the size is not as big of a difference looking at the pictures. So that I understand correctly, with the AASD servo, it goes from actuators to servo box then to the AASD controller then to PC right? What about the Nano box, all in one, does it go from actutators to the Nano box then go straight to the PC or does it go to the AASD controller then to PC? What about functionality with either options, both function similar use Simtools as the plug in? Sorry for the newbie questions, just want to make sure I have a clear understanding of this.

    You need the AMC-AASD15A controller to be able to interface the actuators to simtools. The connections go like this:

    PC-> AMC-AASD15A-> AASD-15A-> servomotor-> Actuator

    And you can connect multiple AASD-15A servos on the AMC-AASD15A servo controller

    What about the Nano/MDbox in the other picture? Does it go from PC-> AMC-AASD15A -> Nano box -> servomotor -> Actuator?

    PC-> AMC-NANO-> 3in1 servo -> servomotors-> actuators...

    Just another more expensive solution...

    Thanks and Simtool will also work with the AMC-Nano?

    Yes. There is plugin that supports all AMC controllers... Notice the Nano, can do only up to 4 actuators...

    @Tanos your AMC-AASD15A Controller comes in a box or it is naked (as in the picture)?

    I comes "naked" as in that photo yes. You can print the enclosure from the STL files I shared here:
    https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3648091

    Or if you don't have 3D printer (who hasn't these days?), I can print and include one for you for a few extra bucks. Email me for such custom order.

    Thanks

    @Thanos you are awesome! Thanks

    Now, I have to find a way to fix these actuators on my rSeat RS1 or change to Aluminum 8020 Rig like Trak Racer TR160 or Sim-Lab
