    Hello @scruck , I am started to build my own today and very interesting in your project. Just ordered the parts seem with you. I have a question about BTS7960, what is the voltage you use? Is it 24v, if that do you have any solution to protect the feedback current going to burn the BTS? I have read the thread you have mention, He supplies power just 18.5v but my power supply does not support adjusting the volt, it fixed at 24v. Thanks.

    Hello @votrungchi , the first thing to say to you that I am very happy that you have decided to carry out the project, on the bts7960 I have not had a feedback problem at the moment, on 18.5v I had to modify the power supply by changing the voltage divider that regulates the voltage to get 18.5v on youtube you have a tutorial on how to modify power supplies, if you need it, tell me and I'll send you a link about it.     Thank you very much for your quick reply. So that means you also using the power supply at 18.5v currently? Have you burned out the BTS before at 24v or you just make sure it does not burn out by use at 18.5v?

    no, I have not burned a bts7960, but I make sure not to overheat them since they barely heat up to 18.5v and the motors still have a lot of power.

    There is no reason, to protect the source of the feedback you can put some diodes, on the modification of the source, which source do you use? PC ATX? to send you a video to modify ... you can even put a potentiometer and make it adjustable ... a greeting

    @scruck Why do you reduce the voltage to 18.5 if the bts7960 supports currents up to 43A and the motors on which you assembled are suitable for 24V?

    good!!! Well, I reduce the voltage to avoid placing fans to cool the bts7960 and to control the sudden movements of my motors ... I am not looking for my platform to pull me from the seat, but rather a movement that gives good sensations, even lowering the voltage to 18.5V the motors still have a lot of power and the BTS7960 barely get hot ... avoiding much more assembly, such as box, fans, etc ...

    no, you don't need a 5v power supply for arduino, it is powered by the usb connection of the pc.
