I have gotten a configuration put together in FlyPT that drives my DOFR H3 pretty well. However, I am not getting "heave" input to the platform. I have attached my config file for reference. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you have heave in the H3?
Sorry for asking such a basic question, but I never saw one live and the rig I have in Mover as no heave.
You have pitch, roll and sway.
    But I might be wrong.

Hmmmm. Perhaps not. I show my lack of experience here. My rig has three motors, two in front and one in back. The motors are connected to the platform via worm gear boxes with rotational arms. Does heave require a different/additional drive setup?

Well, little research and no, no heave capability on the H3. I guess I didn't fully understand what was required to heave.

Thanks. I had a look at SimShaker.lua for hints. I managed to feed the rotor RPM for the Mi-8MT into the stall value for testing purposes. Example:

    local MainPanel = Export.GetDevice(0)
    local mainRotorRPM = MainPanel:get_argument_value(42) * 100 -- Mi-8MT

That developer is also testing o.Name against aircraft names, as the RPM location is different for each aircraft.

I suppose I could set up my own Custom UDP source and assign mainRotorRPM to RPM. I'll need to create a lua file and set up a socket for that. That should work, right?

    Friends,
Im a difficulty with FS2020. In real life, the plane is in constant motion. In order for me to make that happen, I have to raise the Heave a little bit. If you do that, the moves is good, but along with these moves comes a few small hard bumps, nothing real. If I reduce or even eliminate the Heave, the flight is perfect, but without constant movements. My platform is a 6DOF. Can someone give me a tip, what I could do, or even some magic filter. I usually use Emalp or Emahp.

Yes, it's disappointing. I think those bumps are caused by the low telemetry data rate coming from FS2020. It should be 25Hz, but sometimes it feels much less. Lowering the graphics quality can improve the telemetry rate.

The low data quality is one of the reasons I've taken a break from FS2020 and started exploring DCS more. This has much smoother telemetry and really helps with the immersion.

I've been hoping for better telemetry after every FS2020 update. I hope they have plans to improve this.

Thank you very much for the feedback! Do you have any information that they have information that we have a problem with their telemetry? I never flew the DCS. I will try.

I've been trying to setup a traction loss effect in Mover for AMS2. The Traction Loss from Slip Angles pose looks to work well in manual testing, but I don't think the AMS2/Project Cars Source provides the required telemetry. I tried the Black Box Motion for Cars traction loss/yaw but couldn't get it feeling correct. Is there likely to be traction loss/slip angles added to the AMS2 source in the future @pmvcda ? or is there another way of setting it up? Thanks.

I believe they know about the issue. There are many complaints. Check the thread below. Maybe more of us should complain.

    "tempmoe 13d
This is a known issue with SimConnect and MSFS. I have the same problem with my SFX-100 rig and it’s super annoying. It’s been this way since release, and considering how few of us are on motion rigs, I’m not holding out hope for a fix from Microsoft.

There’s a little info on the xsimulator forum, but seems like very few guys there use motion in MSFS."

With G2, while squeezing resolution to 50% I am getting a nice 50-60 fps. I didn’t notice any telemetry cuts using mover.

I'm not getting cuts with Mover. I did with SimTools and SimConnect. The telemetry does seem to hit FS2020 performance a bit. So if you have performance issues anyway, it's going to make the telemetry quite rough.
