Hi, this plug-in works great. However, it only works when the window system language is English (for programs not using unicode). Mine is in different language so this plug-in makes crazy movement. I believe other plug-ins use unicode so no windows language problem. Is it possible to use unicode for this plug in for next update?

The language settings bug is known: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-language-setting-bug-change-to-english-local.233/

If I recall correctly I believe @yobuddy said he has squashed that bug for SimTools 3, which is under development but does not yet have a release date.

I do believe the problem is solved in v3, but the beta test will tell us for sure when we get there.
I'd say we are over 90% done with the beta, anyway, we are getting close.
We hope to put together a v3 first look thread soon so we can go over some new features and see what people think.
    Take care,

good night, i'm new around here, i'm building my first 3dof motion platform with loss of traction. I am from Argentina. I hope to add the largest amount of coins to access the download area and be able to obtain this plugin. Soon I will upload photos of my project. Thank you all for the posts.

    Hi @yobuddy,
This is a great plugin, thank you. I've just noticed there doesn't seem to be any output in the b axis assignments? If I open tuning centre they are all zero and get no movement from actuators set up with those axis. Is there a setting I'm missing?

    Thanks.

    No problem,

Here you go. The fact Its not running in the first image isn't the reason why there's no output.

It looks like your using expert mode.
This provides separate Max/Min files per axis settings.
click here please and see if you have Max/Min settings for (B)

Or you can switch to advanced mode if you don't need separate Max,Min files per axis settings.

    Hi,

Hopefully it shows in the pictures I have separate values for the A and B axis values. the issue seems to be the top level input values. In other games they are working for all 12 inputs but for some reason DR2 has zero values when I switch to the B axis inputs in tuning centre and there is no motion from the B axis actuators.

    Hi,

I will PM them to you but they are no different to all the other games and I'm not sure how that helps but I'm happy for you to look at them. The issue seems to be the actual output from DR2 going to both the a and b axis. which you can see when in tuning centre. There are no input values at the top of the box for each DOF for B axis values. In A axis you can see the dynamic number values, in B axis they are all zero so it shouldn't matter what I set for the values

I'm just trying to match your settings so I can look for possible errors is all.

I managed to get it working. Firstly, I'd made a schoolboy error on the one axis i.e. I hadn't set it but the other one was there and didn't work. I saved and opened the b settings from another game and it worked. I can now also see the dynamic values at the top in the a and b axis pages in tuning centre.

On a different note I have had it on 2 setups where if you stop in the game and resume some of the motion stops and you have to restart the whole game for it to work but I've reinstalled the plugin and it seems fine.

This plugin really brings the game to life so thanks for writing it!

normaly found in \Users\*your user name *\Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally 2.0\hardwaresettings
and add these lines in the motion platform section i think you only need 1 or 2 of the lines but i always just copy and paste the whole section.
