You have to experiment with this. I use 2ms. Not sure you can get all fast frequency details if you use 20ms.

I agree, by the numbers you can't produce any frequency higher than 50Hz with 20ms interval loop. Or is 25Hz the theoretical limit?
I actually use the RPM module, but more for low rev 'rumble' than high frequencies (for which I have a buttkicker).
But apart from high frequencies, does a 2ms cycle like 'smooth' the movements of a platform compared to 10 or 20ms?
Oh, another question: What's your recommendation/experience with the high res checkbox?

    No, 3.5.3.
    Where would I get 3.6?
Btw, I haven't seen any messages from mastermind pmvcda himself for quite a long time now, neither here nor on the OVRMC discord channel. Does anyone know more about his whereabouts?

Can anyone else confirm that DCS's Flaming Cliffs 3 and SU-25T are no longer executing lua scripts in the hooks folder? DCS_To_FlyPT_Mover.lua appears to no longer get called.

I have no problem with export.lua scripts in the SavedGames/Scripts folder that obtains telemetry from these modules, forwarding it on via TCP.

I'll retest SimTools to see if that has been affected.

According to the dcs.log, DCS_To_FlyPT_Mover.lua is starting, but no data is received at Mover's end for the aircraft mentioned above.

[edit] I've retested SimTools. SimTools and the SimTools (MMF+DLL) source module receive telemetry from DCS's Flaming Cliffs 3 and SU-25T. So it's just DCS_To_FlyPT_Mover.lua that is somehow 'broken'.

Unfortunately, the SimTools DCS telemetry data is not usable for my setup.

I may do some further digging to get to the bottom of this.

[edit] I modified DCS_To_FlyPT_Mover.lua to work in the SavedGames/scripts/ folder and it now sends telemetry to Mover for the bugged aircrafts. That's good enough for me.

Yes, sample based filters depend on calculation rate.
You save resources by increasing the interval, but you have to adapt the filters and you get a noisier/low resolution result

In the mover software itself. Right click and I think it will list as one of the options as “online file”. Select that will give you two options to view shared profiles or upload

This problem still exists in version 3.5.3. Can the next version be solved?

    Hi , @pmvcda
Do you have some news like suspension motion data from IRacing …. ? Or if someone can do something to feel this motion with others feedback data on flypt.
    Thanks Pedro !!

I also came here wondering the same things... Can someone enlighten me where can I get v3.6 and when the next public version is expected and is the development still alive? It would be very said if this brilliant software would be abandoned...

Anybody try Sim Racing Studio (SRS)? I'm thinking of jumping over if Mover becomes vaporware.

What ever in the world make you think FlyPT Mover would become vaporware, this thread is already 145 pages long, giving some indiction as to the depth of FlyPT development and member adoption/use?

By all means if you want to try a different motion software then go for it, but please don't engage in FUD re FlyPT or any other alternative.

In no means did I mean to sound disrespectful!

This thread has become increasingly quiet of late - I genuinely am wondering whether the software has ceased progressing..

Then may I suggest you respectfully ask @pmvcda for a development update, keeping in mind the huge contribution he has already already made, and significant FlyPT software development improvements already implemented based on user feedback, all provided at no cost to yourself or anyone else.

I don't mean to sound reproachful, but rather to stress the importance of a very limited number of devs, who the majority of us rely on when indulging our passion.

I'm not the only one who has raised the same concern recently...

To my knowledge, @pmvcda has/had taken a much needed break due to personal reasons. Why would I want to bother him? Again, sorry if my post brushed you up the wrong way. That was not my intent. My question was if anyone had experience with SRS, *incase* Mover is no longer being developed.

Happy to delete it if considered inappropriate?

    Just want to say, that

    I'm still working in Mover

In 3.6 and 4.0 at the same time.

I can give you many reasons why there's no releases right now, but the main one because I'm changing to much internally followed by many changes going on in my life.
That's not health or something bad, but it's heavy work that needs my attention to have a better future for me and my familly.
I need to make money to live and Mover gives me near zero.

Mover 3.6 is the closest to be ready for release. But I need more time.

Sorry for keeping you all waiting.
