Extensión cable is already attached to a 2.0 usb port. Will try other one

Cable is going to be more difficult as its soldered to a removable connector

well, after som testing and using different USB ports (2.0 and 3.0) problem is still there. Board stops for a few seconds, and none of the buttons work.

next step is to disassemble my wheel and change the board , se if that can solve this problem.

    And....no...that didn't help.
Communication stops for a view seconds and nothing reacts..

I opent window gamecontroller settings to see if connectie is also lost in Windows and thats not the case.
OSH PB controller gives status OK, even when buttons stop reacting.

I have really no idea what more to do

what is your setup? it could be a ground loop or interference problem.

After a lot of testing, i finally was able to sove this issue by downgrading to a lower FW.
Somehoe V0.16 gives me this issue on all boards. Going back to FW 0.15 stopped this freeze problem.

Yesterday I did a 40 test , and wheel did it great.

Only thing I dont like on FW 0.15 is how potentiometers react. They give more fluctuation then on FW 0.16

but , at least I can now drive without having to miss shifting due to no reaction

Question: I recently purchased a old simulator cockpit, called a "Hyper Stimulator". I was mostly interested with the cockpit but it also came with a wheel and pedals but they are old. They connect to computer through old sound blaster 16 joypad port and serial. Would I be right in saying your software and circuitry would be a good way to convert them over to usb? The pedals use pots for brank and throttle and the wheel also uses a pot with an elaborate spring system for self centering (no force feed back). It would be good to get going for the kids and keep them off my fanetec gear.

Hello friend, were you able to solve your problem? The same thing happens to me, I want to update my arduino simulation pedals to stm32, I connect everything as it should be but it does not recognize any axis, as if they have no signal, it does nothing, I am worried because I already disassembled all my arduino electronics.
