Glad you have some new found ambition! When you get the balance correct you can probably move the linkage out a few holes on the motor arms too. Depending on how much power they have.

Linkage should be 90 degrees with the motor levers parallel to the floor.

I hope the results are better than before.

It takes a little processing time after purchase, @RaceRay can check the status for you when he has a spare moment.

@noorbeast is there any way to take the slop out of my rig, what I mean about slop is the movement of the arms at motor before the motor actually turn, it causes my motors to move trying to adjust for the weight shifts on left of right motor I can feel it

How bad is it, this is about average: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/wormdrive-backlash.293/

The longer the leavers the more pronounced backlash is.

Potentially you may be able to shim the gears in the wormdrives.

My first set of motors was jazzy wheelchair, my second set were also jazzy wheelchair but stronger ones but they have a little more lash then I like, my plan is to build me some sfx100 linear actuators to replace my front two motors

Hey guys I have a question, I built a wind sim using Arduino uno rev3 and Adafruit motor /stepper/servo shield. Like a lot of other people I can’t get simtool and simhub to work at the same time, so I would like to use the parts I already have with simtool dash speed fans, can someone show me how to do that. Also can I add the code that’s been used with setups on here to the same arduino? Do I have to buy another arduino? I’m using simtool v3
