Hi everyone! I had downloaded the SimTools v3 plugin for Squadrons but when I try to run it, I have some errors:

    "start error
indice fuera de los limites de la matriz
    en Squadrons_GamePlugin.GamePlugin.GameStart()
520_Offsets.xml or config not found! Patch game again!"

I see the 520_Offsets.xml and 520_Configs.xml in the GamePlugins file. I need help please. I am new with my simulator. Thanks!

The plugin on this thread is for SimTools v2 and is incompatible with SimTools v3, if that is what you are trying to do.

Available SimTools v3 plugins can be accessed directly from the v3 interface when online, as v3 is in Beta not all plugins are available just yet.

    Hi,
I'm having problems to launch the STEAM versión of StarWars Squadron.
    1.- Using SIMTOOLS 2.5
    2- downloaded the plugin.
3.- downloaded the latest XML from post 24 (which is the same as in post 64 mini tutorial)
4.- follow de minitutorial of post 64
5.- when I launch the game from steam (or the simbolic link) it cannot start. (probably becaouse steam don't detect de anticheat software
6.- If I launch the normal starwarssquadon_launcher..(the one that launchs the anticheat ) it force an dll error in simtools and there is no telemetry.

Any clues of what to do. ???

    Thanks in advance.

Just recently last week I can't get it to start when patched (file names swapped) on my desktop. Still works fine on my laptop when patched. Not sure what happened. Can't figure out what the problem is.

I've been following a lot of friends having trouble getting this game to work correctly. Here are some important tips and a contribution I bring to the community. I'm sure that following these steps will make everything work for you:

I developed a program to make everyone's life easier, which automatically creates the symbolic link needed for SimTools to work correctly. This should be very helpful for those who are less familiar with computers. Just download the ZIP file and run the SQUADRONS_MOTION.EXE file.

    Download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GhvYP9s76IaCQA_tJyqcXCJyIfwIf7ex/view?usp=sharing

    After that, follow these tips:

    1. MAX/MIN Tuning: When installing the plugin, note that the MAX/MIN tuning screen is not automatically filled in. You need to manually enter this information. Click Capture, fill in the values, and then save:
      • ROLL: 2, -2
      • PITCH: 2, -2
      • YAW: 1, -1
      • HEAVE: 1, -1
      • SWAY: 1, -1
      • SURGE: 2, -2
      • EXTRA 1: 25, -25
      • EXTRA 2: 25, -25
    2. Starting the game: The plugin will not work if you open the game through SimTools. Open the game through Steam, but first, ensure that the Auto detected launched games option is enabled in the SimTools Options menu. If you try to launch the game through SimTools by clicking PLAY, a series of errors will occur, and the movements will not work!

    3. Telemetry in certain stages: In some stages, even in story mode, using specific ships, telemetry does not work correctly.

    4. Game version: This only works with the game purchased via Steam!

    5. Anticheat: It is not necessary to uninstall the Anticheat!

    6. Smoothing filter: I recommend applying a Smoothing filter to the Surge movement to make the movements smoother. I use 35%, but this may vary depending on your setup.
