If @BrazilianGuy or someone else wants to update the plugin for CCD, I have recently found some addresses in the game (Steam version v. 1.5.9.2):
    - sway (should be the same address as BrazilianGuy)
    - surge (seems to work)
    - RPM
    - Speed

Here is the (human readable) Cheat Engine file.

Nice work, hopefully someone may be interested in tackling the update, given the timing perhaps for SimTools v3 as an update will be required for that anyway.

Unfortunately @BrazilianGuy has not been active since mid 2021, so @yobuddy may want to take note of your efforts and findings.

Hi Guys, I logged in after some time away. It is nice to see that some people have been working on the pluggin.

@Marc Fdx @pepmoo : I have seen you guys uploaded some memory maps. After the holiday seasons I can take a look at them and see if I can integrate them.

    Best regards

I’m wading through tutorials and looking over the posts about finding the game data. Do you know which is the best approach for City Car?

These games are listed as examples and I’m wondering if one is similar to this one.

    NoLimits,
    Wings of Prey
    War Thunder
    TestDriveUnlimited2.

All these tutorials are useful as they give good clues about how to approach a game: when you try to find memory addresses with Cheat Engine, the main job is to figure out which values you will type in as the search criteria. With CCD it's really easy to get your hands on the RPM value because the number is written on the dashboard, so you just search for the value as displayed on the screen (maintaining the RPM at a specific level with your controller is the biggest challenge!).

But most of the time the value is not displayed, so you have to approach the internal value using little tricks. There I used a very basic method to search for the surge value:
    - car stopped: search for zero
    - while accelerating, search for positive values
    - while braking, search for negative values
After a few dozens of these searches, there won't be many addresses available. If you can't get to a usable value, start again but invert the positive and negative values.

Once you have the right address, you will have to search for a static address pointing to it, because each time you start the game the final memory location will change. This can also be a challenge, but you can find tutorials as well.

SimTools v3 is in Beta testing, the plugins that are available from the repository are what is available at the moment, other plugins will be added over time.

I wonder if this plugin is still available at the moment. I want to download it, but I don't have enough coins.

It is available but the last time I checked it was only working with a couple forces. I will test again when I get home this evening.

This is the only working plugin at the moment, but it only has SWAY working. Don't use the official plugin as that isn't working any more and it will just waste the coins for you. There have been some updates provided in the more recent comments but no one has updated the plugin. I have been unable to get any of my attempts at updating it working either, but I will keep trying.

EDIT: I have been able to find the RPM, and Speed (MPH) values in Cheat Engine. I'm using a laptop so jumping from the game window to cheat engine to grab values is cumbersome, but I am finally getting the hang of it. Moving forward.
