Feel free to add it to the FAQ 3D printable item if that could be usefull for other. 409548496_737318684522509_8746343806430757062_n.jpg 410917006_645733044429249_8115057774158532570_n.jpg 1.JPG 2.JPG 3.JPG 4.JPG

Hello, my wiper motors is definitely not powerfull enough, so i think i'll buy a 12 DC motor, my problem is that in my country i can't access to the common store to buuy motor, i can only buy on amazon.fr and when i search for 12v worn motor this is what show up, and i'm really confused what can suit for my need.
    https://www.amazon.fr/s?k=worn+dc+m...efix=worn+dc+moteur+12,aps,433&ref=nb_sb_noss

My rig is a 2DOF seat mover shoulder mounted with IBT 2 and a 12V30Amp

I'd guess absolutely not. The motor is only 57mm long.

Ok thanx chris, i'm trying a Bus wiper motors now, if it works i'll stay with wiper, the motor is way more powerfull on a 200 Ah batterie, but my question is can i change the battery at the same time as i play ? the charge voltage is 14 Volt so i don't know if the IBT 2 will support that voltage

You can charge it without problems unless it’s a very brutal charger. 14V is perfectly fine for the ibt.
    Bus wipers sounds very good!

Are you using Simtools v3? The old v2 plugin doesn’t work for newer versions of GPbikes. We developed the new plugin for v3 only.

I'm trying to configure gp bikes with simtools 3 beta but i don't have correct motion it just randomly roll on one direction and randomely go to center, nothing to do with my bike, here are my setting :

Oh, good! Then you got it moving! :D

You are using roll velocity rather than roll. (I'd use sway instead of roll though.
And Pitch instead of Pitch velocity. (Here I'd use surge instead)

I'd use this as a start:

    upload_2023-12-28_16-5-14.png

(Rel. pitch is the same as wheelie)

Put values in one at a time and make sure they are in the correct direction.

Don't use Axis 3 yet. That'll have to wait until your third motor :)

Now it isn't moving anymore :D, i've test just surge and there is no motion

You have to set min/max values first.

Easiest way to do that is just click capture and write the values manually.
For roll you can use +-60
    pitch +-10
    Sway and surge +-1
Then click save. Then it should move. :)

Thanks Chris, in fact I forgot the "]" in the interface outpout, now it's moving correctly, time to tune it now, it's lot of fun even if im still riding a bike with a car wheel and pedal, hihihihi :grin

    That's a nice error!

Motion is fun! The feedback really gives another dimension.

    Happy new year !
I'm having too much fun, the Bus wiper motor was way more powerfull but i need to find the exact same to replace the remaining standard car one, but with some tweak in SMC 3 , i manage to balance the two motors.
I've migrated all my sim to simtools 3 beta but I don't know why Dirt Rally 2 have way less motion than when i was in Simtool 2 , still tweaking but now i'm having fun with Rfactor 2 wich is i think the best of all my sim in term of motion transcription.
